Example values are not shown for this dataset: the details behind a parcel are for Gold and Platinum members.

A superseded record is an earlier title of its ground — an LR title later given a block number, or a mother title since subdivided. The map draws the 254,948 current titles; search finds the old ones too, and a parcel’s Title history lists the titles under it.

Where it covers

From 1.163° to 1.389° south and 36.668° to 37.101° east, in latitude and longitude (WGS 84).

How to get it

Where it comes from

Compiled from survey records. Each boundary represents the record, not a survey of the ground: good enough to find and understand a parcel, not to set out a beacon.

Questions

How do I download the Nairobi Parcels Cadastre?

Sign in with a Platinum plan and download it as GeoJSON from the map’s Downloads list; this dataset is paid once on top of the plan. GeoJSON opens in QGIS, ArcGIS and most map software, and QGIS can save it as a shapefile.

Can I connect QGIS to the Nairobi Parcels Cadastre?

Yes. Add a WFS layer in QGIS pointing at https://nairobimaps.com/wfs.php with your API key, and choose nm:parcels. It stays up to date and only fetches what you are looking at.
